Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Shift Pattern: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £16.77 per hour
Guaranteed Pay: 40 hours per week (36 hours worked)
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Weekend Shift Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Bicester. This role is based on a production line within the main factory and is ideal for individuals who have experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, engineering, automotive or production environments.
Working as part of a fast-paced team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards before being dispatched to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect coated components for finish quality, colour consistency, defects and surface integrity.
- Complete and maintain quality documentation, inspection records and non-conformance reports.
- Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications, internal standards and industry requirements.
- Support final quality sign-off prior to packing and dispatch.
- Carry out routine line operating duties within the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all Health & Safety, quality and ISO procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, quality inspection, engineering or automotive environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues.
- Good understanding of quality processes and documentation.
- Ability to work independently whilst remaining an effective team player.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced factory environment.
- Reliable, methodical and committed to maintaining high standards.
