Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Pay: £12.75 Location: Tamworth Job Type: Temp to Perm Start Date: January An established, family-owned manufacturing business is seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a small, close-knit warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities - Following written procedures for safe working and standard operating practices - Order picking from an 8,000 sq ft warehouse (approx. 200 picks per day) - Booking in stock and putting stock away - Transporting stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities - Stock taking and inventory control - Re boxing and weighing smaller orders - Booking in returned products - Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping - Goods inwards, including unloading and putting away raw materials Requirements - Valid forklift licence – Reach and Counterbalance (essential) - Forklift licence – VNA (preferred) - Full, clean driving licence (essential) - Experience in fast-moving warehouse environments - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Flexible approach to business needs - Excellent command of the English language - Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision - Courteous and professional when dealing with customers Additional Information - Initial interviews will be face to face, including a site tour - Second-stage interviews will include a competency test (van and forklift driving) - Uniform provided after qualifying period - Long-term opportunity with temp-to-perm progression If your interested please click apply now or send your CV to tamworth@pertemps.co.uk |  |  |  |
