Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Back Shift) Location: EH48 2FB Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 12 weeks- Temporary initially opportunity for Permanent Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour Working Hours: 12pm-8pm (5 days over 7 on 3 weekly rotating) Week 1 days off Thursday/Friday Week 2 days off Tuesday/Wednesday Week 3 days off Monday/Saturday/Sunday Hours may vary and overtime may be required Join a fast-paced distribution centre as a Warehouse Operative! Main duties: - Unloading deliveries and checking them against order forms or invoices - Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently - Working in a cold environment- Chilled/Refrigerated area - Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory and ensure correct picking. - Verifying that the orders picked and packed match the customer’s specifications, checking for any discrepancies, damages, or missing items. - Handling heavy lifting as part of the job - Working as part of a supportive team Key Skills: - Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting - Being able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and keep track of orders - Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly. - Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern - Good attention to detail - Previous warehouse experience Apply Today!
