We're looking for a talented and highly organised Creative Manager to join a busy Creative team, working across a portfolio of leading retail sourcing, manufacturing and engineering events, both nationally and internationally.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong marketing and creative experience with hands-on design skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Reporting to the Head of Creative, you'll play a key role in managing creative projects from brief through to delivery, working closely with marketing and delivery teams to ensure campaigns and communications are delivered on time, on brand and to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise creative work coming into the team, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and deadlines are met.
- Work closely with delivery teams to produce and deliver marketing assets in line with campaign schedules and live events.
- Ensure all marketing touchpoints are consistent, engaging and tailored appropriately for each channel and audience.
- Understand creative lead times across different formats and plan resource accordingly.
- Identify potential challenges early and proactively find solutions.
- Edit and review copy, providing creative feedback to ensure brand guidelines are followed and key messages are clear.
- Write, review and refine creative briefs, ensuring designers and producers have all the information they need to deliver effectively.
- Proactively manage incoming briefs and ensure projects are planned and resourced in good time.
- Take the lead on sourcing freelance creative support when required.
- Attend weekly campaign meetings, providing updates on progress and helping to plan upcoming creative activity.
- Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining a consistently high standard of creative output.
About You
We're looking for someone who is creative, organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple projects at once.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 3 years' experience in a creative or content-focused role, ideally within a fast-paced agency or similar environment and have used Monday.com before.
- Experience working within a medium to large organisation with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- A strong understanding of creative and design requirements across different marketing channels.
- The ability to adapt tone, messaging and content for different audiences.
- Copywriting and proofreading experience would be advantageous.
- A genuine passion for creativity and design, with a strong eye for quality and visual detail.
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience combining strong copy with effective visual design.
- Excellent attention to detail and impeccable proofreading and grammatical skills.
- Strong project management, organisational and process skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- A collaborative, adaptable and flexible approach, with the confidence to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
