Duration: 4 - 6 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch
Location: City of London (fully office based)
Rate: £16.82 per hour plus holiday accrual
We are currently seeking a professional and proactive Receptionist to join a long-standing professional services client on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of a business and takes pride in delivering a first-class front of house experience. You'll be working closely with one other Receptionist and supporting the wider Facilities Management team.
The Role
As the first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring the reception area always operates smoothly and professionally.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing a warm and professional welcome to all visitors
- Managing front-of-house and reception duties
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and visitor arrivals
- Supporting the Facilities Management team with day-to-day operational tasks
- Maintaining a professional and organised reception environment
- Working collaboratively with a fellow receptionist to deliver seamless service
About You
- Previous reception or front-of-house experience required
- Friendly, confident and highly professional approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-presented and personable
- Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
- Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems
