Temporary Assistant Finance Operations
Temporary Contract: 1 to 3 months
Start date: 6th of Jan 2025
37.5 hour working week - Hybrid model
£17-£20 per hour plus holiday pay accrual
Our valued and long standing client is looking for an Assistant Finance Operations Temp to join their team at the beginning of January. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of an organisation which manages and regulates the electricity industry here in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Ensure effective operation of the purchase ledger function and accurate recording of liabilities (registering invoices)
Process weekly payment runs
Perform Treasury function daily (bank reconciliations)
Assist with the monthly sales Invoicing to the industry
Assist with the NCC scheme finance processes and any other schemes (validate and approve applications)
Assist with the timely collection of debts and default process
Assist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations
Experience working in Accounts Payable is necessary. You must have knowledge of registering invoices, payment runs, and daily bank reconciliations.
