Job Title: Pre-Assessment Healthcare Nurse (Band 7) Position: Telephone Assessment Service for Overseas Candidates Start: Immediate start available Hours: Part-Time, 20+ hours per week. Salary: £44,000 - £50,000 pro rata on hours worked (Dependent on experience) Location: Remote, working from home option or from Milton Keynes Head Office. Training: Milton Keynes Head Office for training About the Role Pertemps Medical is proud to partner with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in delivering high-quality healthcare assessments. We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Nurse to conduct telephone-based pre-assessments for overseas candidates applying to join the Royal Navy & Royal Marines. This position would be suitable for a Band 7 Nurse with excellent all-round knowledge and ideally previous medical assessment experience.  Job Responsibilities: - Conduct telephone assessments with overseas candidates (each assessment lasts approximately 45 minutes). - Schedule and manage assessments efficiently using Microsoft office. - Review overseas eye-test results to determine suitability or request additional information/re-tests (full training provided). - Documenting assessment outcomes in the system with accuracy (full training provided). - Ensure strict adherence to MoD policies and procedures. - Work flexible shifts (including day and evening screenings) to accommodate global time zones.  Person Specification: We are looking for a highly skilled and professional Band 7 Nurse with: - Extensive clinical and medical assessment experience. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - High clinical standards and attention to detail. - A proactive, solution-focused approach. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems, and Microsoft Teams.
