Support Worker – Adults & Families ?? Truro, Cornwall ?? £15.34 per hour ?? 37 hours per week ?? 5 Month Contract We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a dedicated Adults & Families service based in Truro. This is a rewarding opportunity supporting vulnerable adults within a community-focused environment. Please note there will be an expectation to cover additional schemes across Cornwall, therefore applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. The Role - Supporting individuals with a variety of support needs - Delivering person-centred support and support planning - Risk assessing and managing challenging situations - Maintaining accurate records and case notes - Lone working as well as working collaboratively within a team - Building positive relationships with service users and partner agencies Requirements - Experience within support work, housing support, social care or similar settings - Understanding of support planning and risk management - Strong communication and rapport-building skills - Confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records - Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure - Flexible approach to shifts including lates, weekends and bank holidays - Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Additional Information - Rolling 5-week rota pattern - Enhanced DBS required - Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract - This role is not eligible for sponsorship/CoS If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and making a positive difference within the community, we’d love to hear from you.  Call Carol 07375412872 or email CV to cjones@rgbrec.co.uk |  |  |  |
