Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
Primary or Secondary School in Hazlemere | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Pay: £90 – £100 per day
Do you have a passion for supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs? A friendly school in Hazlemere is looking for a committed Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide tailored support to students with speech and language difficulties
- Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
- Use specialist strategies and resources to develop communication skills
- Track progress and adapt interventions to meet individual needs
- Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with speech and language needs (school or clinical setting)
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
- Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals
- A proactive, organised individual passionate about SEND support
