Location: East Lothian Salary: £15.49 per hour Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Are you a skilled HGV mechanic with expertise in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles? What you'll do: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations. - Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults specific to HGVs. - Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT tests. - Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic equipment effectively. What we're looking for: - Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or technician. - Strong understanding of HGV mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repairs. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management. - Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, are highly desirable. - Valid HGV license essential.
