School Caretaker – Maidstone based
We’re working with a welcoming and community-focused school in Maidstone that’s on the lookout for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being the go-to person for all things practical.
Contract: Starting ASAP
Salary: £115-£120 per day
Your Role Will Include:
- Opening and locking the school each day
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Supporting with deliveries and site security
- Being a friendly face for staff, pupils, and visitors
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has previous caretaking or facilities experience (school setting ideal but not essential)
- Is hands-on, dependable, and takes initiative
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is flexible with working hours, especially during term time
