Senior Civil Engineer Saffron Walden, Essex Salary: Up to £50,000 A civil and transportation engineering consultancy based in Saffron Walden is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their civils team in Essex. They are looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineer to lead a small infrastructure design team, primarily on residential projects, where you will be responsible for producing and managing drainage and highways design packages. Requirements: - Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in detailed highway and drainage design. - Experience should encompass all aspects of project design work, from the inception of schemes through to implementation on site. - Experience in client liaison and attendance at meetings is essential. - Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and 3D modelling software such as Site 3D. - A thorough understanding of design standards, highway contracts, and legal agreements is also required. - There are excellent prospects for career progression within the company structure for the right candidate.
