Role Overview We are currently recruiting for a Security Supervisor to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client`s site. As a key member of the security operation, this role requires a strong, natural and effective communicator who can lead, motivate, and develop the team to deliver a professional service within a high demanding customer focused environment. Applicants must demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate the team and it is essential that the applicant should be able to display, how they would implement a good team working environment. The successful candidate will be playing an integral part between the relationship of our client and OCS, ensuring that staff, visitors and contractors receive a high-quality service whilst undertaking business at a flagship campus. Benefits * Wide range of retail discounts * Discounted gym membership * Join our Cycle to Work scheme. * Access to internal Mental Health First Aiders * Immediate access to the OCS Academy internal Learning and Development platform * OCS fully funded uniform * Contribute to the nomination and winning of our OCS TRUE Star Awards Key Responsibilities: * Provide front-line management to all security operations. * Act as the designated first responder to all incidents. * Undertake effective investigations and produce well written incident reports. * Complete site-based rostering and contribute to the effective control of pre-planned/reactive absence. * Ensure all procedures, assignment instructions, risk assessments and protocols are always followed. * Delivery and recording of all training requirements, ensuring each team member has an individual training plan. * To encourage a stable team environment among all staff * Deputise for the Account Manager in their absence. * Operate to the OCS TRUE values and our Code of Conduct About You: * Applicants must have the right to work in the UK * SIA Frontline or Door Supervisor licence essential. * CCTV license desirable but not essential. * Previous experience of leading people advantageous. * The ability to collaborate and engage with key stakeholders across several business operations would be required. * Competent level skills in core IT Applications. * Able to understand the context and consequences of decisions and actions. * Experience with conflict management, demonstrating an ability to work under pressure and deliver on time critical tasks. * Experience in customer care desirable. Must be personable, proactive and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and services in all activities. * Demonstrate an ability to promote and develop collaborative working within a small core team.
