Job Overview We are currently recruiting forSecurity Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at our client`s site in the Coventry region. You will undertake duties including greeting visitors and staff. Issuing visitor and staff passes, pre-booking visitor notifications, managing access and egress to site. Benefits * Access to high street discounts * Recognition scheme `OCS Stars` * Training and Development- apprenticeships, e-learning * Access to our Employee Assistance Programme- 24-7 Wellbeing Support * Wide range of retail discounts * Discounted gym membership * Join our Cycle to Work scheme * Access to "CHROMA", our internal colleague-led diversity and inclusion community - join a committee or take part in our events * Access to internal Mental Health First Aiders Key Responsibilities: * Monitor and control access to the premises * Conduct thorough security checks on individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the site. * Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts. * Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies. * Ensuring all visitors are signed in as per site security requirements. * To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service. * To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directive. * Monitor CCTV * To present a professional and polite image to all customers, both staff and visitors. * To maintain logs of messages and arrival of visitors. * To adhere to the company`s dress code and wear correct uniform. * To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company`s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans. * To comply with the company`s policies, management plans and procedures. About You: * Applicants must have the right to work in the UK * Strong people and customer service skills * Effective communication skills * A drive to succeed by working as part of a close-knit team * We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service. * You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail. * A Criminal Record Check, employment history * SIA LICENSE Is a requirement. * Driving License is Desirable due to the lack of public transport to some sites.
