School General Assistant - Enhanced DBS Needed
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. You will work closely with staff and students to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
- Supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation and service (if required)
- Setting up rooms for lessons, events, and activities
- Helping with the movement of equipment and supplies around the school
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
