School Caretaker

Manpower are currently seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our client in LE5.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the school facilities are in excellent condition.
- Oversee the cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify any safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain outdoor areas including gardens, playgrounds, and sports fields to ensure they are safe
About you:
- Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to undertake a DBS check.
Hours and Pay:
£13.01 per hour
40 hours a week
Standard working hours - 8 hours starting 08.30 - 16.30 per day Monday to Friday then will need to be flexible once trained to work between the hours of 6am-10pm - flexibility is required
