This successful and established family run manufacturing business in Stockport is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an expanding team.
Outline Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, and working in a small finance team you’ll be involved with the following duties:
- Processing the Purchase Ledger; matching, batching & coding the invoices
- Processing the purchase orders
- Deal with invoices queries by telephone & email
- Assist the Sales Ledger Clerk
- Carry out various administrative tasks to support the finance function
The ideal candidate will have Knowledge of or be willing to learn the following duties:
- Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- Payroll
The ideal candidate will be willing to take on additional finance duties and offer ideas on ways to develop the role and the finance function.
