Are you a passionate Psychology Graduate looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to support pupils with diverse learning needs in schools across Eastbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and group support for children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties).
Use tailored strategies to help children engage with learning and develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
Assist in creating and following personalised learning plans.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to meet each child’s needs.
Observe and report on progress, adjusting support where needed.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Degree in Psychology (or related field).
Passion for working with children and supporting those with SEN.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Patience, empathy, and resilience.
Proactive and willing to learn.
Previous SEN or school experience is helpful but not essential.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
