Manpower are currently seeking an interim Project Manager to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full-time temporary role for 6 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver cross-functional projects across the business. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of project outcomes, and is confident driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions.
It would be highly desirable that the successful candidate will be experienced in FMCG, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing or Innovation environments. With an ability to manage project timelines, actions, dependencies, risks and deliverables. They will act as the central point of coordination, ensuring projects remain on track, stakeholders are engaged, and tracking that the actions and business objectives are achieved
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines and objectives.
- Build, maintain and optimise project plans using Microsoft Planner/Projects and the wider Microsoft 365 suite.
- Track and manage project milestones, actions, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Facilitate project meetings internally & externally with our 3rd Party Manufacturers, document outcomes and ensure timely follow-up of actions.
- Drive accountability across project teams and ensure commitments are delivered on time.
- Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the organisation.
- Communicate project status, risks and key decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate issues proactively, recommending solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Coordinate resources and activities across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and ways of working and it proactively suggesting acceleration
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role, preferably within FMCG, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing or Innovation environments.
- Experience of a task management system, preferably Microsoft Planner.
- Strong project planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong ownership mentality with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint desirable.
- Project Management qualification preferred.
