Production Operative
Grimsby
Manpower are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy seafood processing facility. This is a full-time opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidates.
Location
- Grimsby- Estate Roads
- No public transport links are available to the site
Shift Pattern
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm. No weekend work required
Pay Rate
£12.97 per hour, rising after a probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing fish products to customer specifications
- Filleting, trimming, grading, packing, and labelling fish products as required/ experience
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
- Cleaning and maintaining workstations, tools, and equipment
- Supporting the wider production team to meet daily production targets
- Working efficiently in a chilled production environment
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or seafood processing environment is desirable.
- Experience within a production or factory environment is advantageous
Skills & Attributes
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
- Ability to follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
