Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Leading Manufacturing Business Excellent Working Environment Competitive Pay & Benefits Potential to Earn £15+ per Hour Once Fully Trained We are looking for a motivated and dependable Weekends Production Operative / Machine Operator to join our specialist electrical and mechanical process plant on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, working to targets, and being part of a supportive team. This position offers long-term security, career development, and an excellent pathway to increased earnings following successful training and probation. Shift Pattern: 1800-0600 Friday to Sunday (33 hours per week) Key Responsibilities of the weekend twilight shift operator include: Working as part of a small, dedicated team, you will be responsible for: o Carrying out routine Production Operative tasks over the weekends and following established procedures o Preparing and setting equipment in line with company requirements o Monitoring each stage of the production process and maintaining consistent output quality o Using hand tools to inspect and quality-check your own work o Accurately completing documentation and adhering to SOPs o Supporting basic machine upkeep and safe handling of raw metallic materials o Maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment and contributing to smooth workflow o Managing automated machinery and carrying out some setting duties Person Profile We are seeking someone who: o Has strong attention to detail and good communication skills o Is reliable, proactive, and eager to learn o Can follow written and verbal instructions confidently o Is comfortable working to targets and contributing to team success o Ideally has 6–12+ months of Production Operative experience o Can commit to fixed weekends and remain flexible as the business grows Hours & Pay o Hours: 0600-1800 Friday to Sunday o Starting Rate: £13.93 per hour o Pay Increase: Upon successful completion of probation o Earning Potential: £15+ per hour once fully trained Benefits o Pension scheme o Cycle to Work programme o Employee assistance support o Health scheme o Long-service recognition o Reward programmes o Performance-related bonus opportunities o Regular overtime with premium payments · Additional annual leave day for every 12 months of service If you are interested in this position, please click apply now or send your CV to tamworth@pertemps.co.uk |  |  |  |
