Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)
Salary: £25,400.00 - £27,237.00 per annum
Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Planned Maintenance Operative/Painter to join our Property Services team in Kent. Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of responsive and planned maintenance tasks across our properties, with a primary focus on painting, redecoration, and general property upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Painting & Decorating:
Perform a comprehensive range of painting and redecoration tasks in both occupied and empty properties.
Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, and steam cleaning.
Remove old wallpaper and loose paint.
Repair cracks and holes in walls and joinery by applying fillers and sealants.
Prepare and sand surfaces for the application of decorative products.
Property Clearance & Cleaning:
Ensure all work areas and accommodations are clean, fit for purpose, and free from debris upon task completion, adhering to company standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date cleaning records in accordance with company procedures.
General Maintenance:
Undertake other duties as deemed reasonable by the Head of Property Services.

Work closely and cooperatively with your line manager, team members, and other internal/field-based staff.
Actively participate in meetings and provide on-the-job training and cover for colleagues as required.
Possess strong written and oral communication skills, maintaining discretion with confidential information.

Ensure all records are accurately maintained according to company policies and procedures.
