URGENT: Catering Assistant Needed – Bakery (Temp Position)
Location: Callington, PL17 7AA
About the Role:
We are urgently seeking a reliable and hard-working Catering Assistant to support a busy local bakery in Callington on a temporary basis, with an immediate start available.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous catering or kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment. You’ll be assisting with day-to-day operations including prep, service support, and maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with food preparation and basic bakery tasks

Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and tidy

Washing up and general cleaning duties

Supporting the team with service and packaging as needed

Following all health & safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:

Previous experience in a catering or kitchen setting

Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Punctual, reliable, and ready to get stuck in
