Contract: Full time, starting Jan 2026
Salary: £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4
- Create a classroom culture that celebrates linguistic diversity and encourages student participation
- Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and inspire curiosity
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and language clubs
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards at all times
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages, French, Spanish, or a related field
- Proven experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inclusive education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks
- A sense of humour and a genuine love for languages—because learning should be fun!
