You'll work within project delivery teams and receive support from senior engineers and leadership to accelerate your development in a motivating, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: - Create structural designs and perform calculations for projects using steel, concrete, masonry, and/or timber. - Generate technical deliverables—including drawings, reports, and specifications—adhering to relevant UK standards (BS and Eurocodes). - Collaborate seamlessly with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure coordinated engineering solutions. - Conduct design reviews and quality control measures on outputs from junior team members. - Attend site visits for feasibility studies, inspections, and construction-phase support. - Participate in technical and project meetings; assist in conveying engineering solutions to both internal teams and clients. - Enhance internal workflows by proposing improvements in tools, processes, or documentation approaches. ------------------------- Your Profile Essential: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. - Around 2 years of hands-on experience in structural design, including use of analysis tools (e.g., Tekla, SCIA, SAP2000, IDEA Statica) and CAD/BIM technologies (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). - Solid understanding of structural design codes for various materials within the UK regulatory framework. - Excellent analytical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and methodical problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with confidence in report writing and client/team engagement. - A proactive, collaborative professional eager to learn and grow.
