What You’ll Do
As a Housing Officer, you will:
Champion Residents’ Needs: Build strong relationships with residents, addressing their housing concerns and empowering them to sustain their tenancies.
Ensure Tenancy Compliance: Manage tenancies, leases, and licences within your patch, taking action to address breaches, illegal sub-letting, or anti-social behaviour.
Promote Safety: Identify and report fire safety risks, provide advice, and collaborate with internal teams to reduce hazards.
Lead Tenancy Audits: Visit homes to gather intelligence and ensure our housing stock meets the needs of our communities.
Resolve Issues Swiftly: Tackle complaints, tenancy changes, and disputes with professionalism, compassion, and adherence to housing law.
Make a Real Difference: Support vulnerable residents, respond to emergencies, and play a critical role in safeguarding their wellbeing.

Your Skills & Expertise
Comprehensive knowledge of housing law and policies.

Experience in managing tenancies, addressing breaches, and taking legal action when required.
Competence in IT systems and data management, ensuring confidentiality and efficiency.
A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach to challenges.
