Health and Safety Advisor Location: Birmingham Salary: Up to £45,000 HSE Recruitment Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a dynamic and supportive team in a growing company. In this role, you will provide expert health and safety guidance, with a particular focus on CDM and compliance across multiple project teams. You will oversee contractors and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and compliance while delivering hands-on support across the business. A key aspect of the position includes conducting site audits, inspections, and managing all related documentation. The role offers a balanced mix of compliance work and field-based activities, making excellent interpersonal skills essential. Key Responsibilities: - Offer practical health and safety advice across various projects - Provide CDM guidance and coaching to project teams - Communicate effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and external businesses - Conduct audits, site inspections, and complete necessary documentation - Balance compliance tasks with hands-on, on-site health and safety management - Ensure safety procedures are consistently followed, maintaining a positive safety culture Essential Requirements: - NEBOSH Certificate in Construction - Strong administrative and IT skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations - Proven experience in conducting audits, site surveys, and inspections - Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach If this opportunity interests you please apply by sending your CV to: Harriett.Green@hserecruitment.co.uk for immediate consideration.
