Handyperson/Maintenance Operative - Sloane Square

My client is looking for a skilled Fabric Technician/Handyperson for a minimum 3-month contract position in Sloane Square.
This role offers an hourly rate of £16.59 per hour PAYE or £21 per hour via an umbrella company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep of building fabric and fixtures. Duties may include painting, decorating, carpentry repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
The role requires someone with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Skills:
Experience in facilities management or maintenance roles
Proficiency in conducting planned and reactive maintenance
Capable of performing carpentry and general repair tasks
Strong painting and decorating skills
Ability to handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs
Excellent problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with health and safety practices
Competence in maintaining maintenance records
Ability to work flexibly and handle various tasks
Previous maintenance experience is essential.
