Gas Operations Supervisor Up to 60K - Office Based role for a company in Essex. Overview We’re recruiting for an Gas Bias operations Supervisor to join a leading building services provider, supporting the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance across a mobile engineering team. This is an ideal step-up role for a senior engineer (gas/heating or plant room background) moving into management. Key Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day service desk operations, managing 4 coordinators - Support and supervise mobile engineers, driving performance and efficiency - Manage WIP, job allocation, and service delivery - Handle client communication, escalations, and service updates - Produce quotations, RAMS, and technical support - Monitor engineer performance and champion “fix first time” approach - Ensure compliance with H&S and service standards What We’re Looking For - Background in building services / HVAC / gas (domestic or commercial / HIU) - Strong knowledge of plant rooms and maintenance operations - Experience coordinating engineers or working within a service desk environment - Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills - Ambition to progress into Operations / Service Management What’s on Offer - Clear progression to Operations Manager / Contract Manager - Office-based leadership role with strong technical involvement - Opportunity to step into management from an engineering background Salary & Package: - Salary up to 60K - 5 days a week office based role with onsite parking - 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays - Sick pay - Loyalty Bonus - Onsite gym and spa - Life Assurance: x2 annual salary - Company Wellness Scheme - Eye Care Scheme - Reward & Recognition Scheme - Personal Development: Training Academy / Mentor initiative |  |  |  |
