Your Role

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level English depending on experience.

Foster a love of literature, writing, and critical thinking, helping students develop strong literacy skills.

Create a positive, supportive classroom environment where all students feel confident to express their ideas.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve and achieve their potential.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular projects, share best practice, and contribute to wider school life.

Support students in preparing for exams, offering guidance with revision strategies, essay writing, and exam technique.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Holds a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
