A vibrant and supportive secondary school in Medway are on the lookout for a talented English Teacher to join their team from October 2025. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time, this long-term role (teaching up to KS4) offers the chance to make a real impact in the classroom.
Supply Desk are working in partnership with a thriving and inclusive co-educational secondary school in Chatham, known for its commitment to student success, supportive staff culture, and strong pastoral care. We are looking for an experienced and passionate English teacher who can confidently teach across Key Stages 3 to 4 and is ready to take on full teacher responsibilities.
The Role:
- Delivering dynamic and engaging English lessons tailored to a diverse range of learners
- Teaching across KS3–KS4 with a focus on inclusion and accessibility
- Taking full classroom responsibility including planning, assessment, marking, and parent communication
- Creating a safe, stimulating learning environment for all students
- Supporting students with SEND and those from vulnerable backgrounds
- Demonstrating excellent behaviour management and resilience in the classroom
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching English up to KS4
- Be passionate about inclusive education and differentiated learning
- Show strong classroom management and the ability to build relationships with all learners
- Be dependable, resilient, and consistent in their teaching approach
- Ideally have experience working with SEND pupils and students with additional pastoral needs
