Are you an inspiring and dedicated English teacher ready to make an immediate impact? We are looking for a passionate educator to join a thriving secondary school in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students with a dynamic English curriculum and support their academic success.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
- Create tailored lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a love for literature and language while developing students’ critical thinking and communication skills.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS / NQT / PGCE / QTLS or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related subject.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
- Energetic, adaptable, and highly organised with excellent communication skills.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level, with the ability to engage students of all abilities.
- A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
