Test & Inspect Electrician Location: Leicester Salary: £38,000 About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Test & Inspect Electrician to join our client’s team in Leicester. You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections and testing across a variety of commercial and domestic sites, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICR) - Diagnose, repair and rectify any electrical issues found during testing - Compile clear, concise test reports and certificates - Maintain accurate records of work carried out and circuits tested - Work safely and in accordance with company and industry health & safety policies Essential Requirements - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical inspection or related field - City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection & Testing - NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation - 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification - Full, valid UK driving licence Interview Guarantee: Candidates meeting all the above criteria will be guaranteed an interview! Bonus Structure & Benefits - Bonus: - £2.70 per extra circuit tested over 45 daily - £3.50 per circuit tested on Saturdays & Sundays - Average bonus earned last week across 50 engineers: £450 - Typical daily circuits: 55–60 per engineer - Holidays: 20 days annual leave (4 days to be taken during Christmas shutdown; engineers who work over this period receive both holiday pay and circuit bonus) - Opportunity for career progression and ongoing professional development |  |  |  |
