Job Title: Credit Controller (Temp to Perm) Location: Leicester, City Centre Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £12.21 - £13.00 About the Role: We are working with a well-established business in Leicester that is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who is confident managing end-to-end credit control and has proven experience using Xero accounting software. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the credit control function, working closely with both customers and colleagues to maintain strong financial processes and resolve queries efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Managing the company’s sales ledger and monitoring overdue accounts - Chasing outstanding debt by phone and email in a professional manner - Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts - Producing debtor reports and liaising with management regarding aged debt - Handling customer queries and providing excellent service at all times - Working closely with the wider finance team to improve processes - Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations Skills and Experience Required: - Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role - Hands-on experience with Xero is essential - Strong communication and negotiation skills - High attention to detail and accuracy in financial administration - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel What’s on Offer: - Temp to perm opportunity with a supportive business - Competitive pay rate with potential for progression - Friendly team environment based in Leicester |  |  |  |
