Flexible Cover Supervisor Opportunities – Full-Time, Long-Term
Location: Medway, Kent
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £90 – £120 (dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking to work flexibly across a variety of secondary schools in Medway? Or perhaps you're a passionate graduate aiming to gain valuable classroom experience before beginning your teacher training? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Supply Desk are working closely with a network of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Medway who are seeking committed, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join them on a full-time, long-term basis starting September 2025.
About the Role:
- Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting students in their learning and helping them stay on task
- Following school policies and working in line with safeguarding procedures
- Adapting to different school environments while maintaining a consistent approach
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working in secondary schools or delivering lessons as a Cover Supervisor
- Be confident working across different subject areas and key stages
- Be reliable, flexible, and able to build rapport quickly with students and staff
- Be inclusive, empathetic, and understanding of students’ diverse needs and backgrounds
- Be fully available from September 2025 for a long-term commitment
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
