Community Safety Assistant Location: Yeovil Contract: Temporary (12 weeks) | Full Time (37 hours) Pay: up to £14.89 per hour DOE We are recruiting for a Community Safety Assistant to join a friendly team on a 12-week temporary contract. This is a varied and rewarding role focused on keeping neighbourhoods safe and supporting vulnerable residents. The Role - Manage a diverse caseload of community safety and safeguarding issues - Tackle anti-social behaviour using appropriate tools and legal powers - Support victims of domestic abuse - Progress legal cases through the court process - Attend multi-agency meetings and work closely with partner organisations - Carry out home and neighbourhood visits (mileage paid) About You - Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour and safeguarding cases - Knowledge of enforcement tools and relevant legislation - Confident managing complex cases and sensitive situations - Strong communication and partnership-working skills - A proactive team player with a customer-focused approach This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team during an exciting period of change.
