Cleaner Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, your duties may include:
- General cleaning to a high standard
- Cleaning offices, schools, hospitals, care homes and commercial premises
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors
- Cleaning washrooms, kitchens, communal areas and staff facilities
- Dusting and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Replenishing soap, paper towels and other consumables
- Following site cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
- Using cleaning equipment and cleaning products safely
- Reporting maintenance issues where required
- Maintaining excellent cleaning and hygiene standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Cleaner is essential
- Experience in commercial, domestic, industrial or hospitality cleaning is advantageous
- Good knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning equipment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Drivers are preferred but not essential
