Role Overview We`re looking for a Cleaner to support our client`s site in Market St, Forfar At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms. Key Responsibilities: You should also clarify which responsibilities should be delivered personally by the role holder and which are managerial responsibilities Project Planning * Planning work in a way which ensures that key milestones and completion of cleaning, are kept to a high standard * Identifying issues which may impact on the site , delivery and finding solutions to address these Resource Management * Ensuring an efficient flow of materials to all projects * Effectively managing sub-contractor performance * Ensuring that projects have the optimum labour on site at all times, utilising agency labour where required People Management * Leading and motivating the team * Ensuring that all employees have the appropriate PPE/training to fulfil their role * Employees Photo ID * Regularly reviewing the performance of all employees on both a formal and informal basis * Effectively managing employee performance, including taking disciplinary action where appropriate * Managing absence Health & Safety * Ensuring adherence to Atalianworld health & safety policy at all times * Ensuring the completion of risk assessments and method statements * Reporting all incidents / accidents promptly and taking corrective action where required * Helping create a positive safety culture across the team About You: * Applicants must have the right to work in the UK Experience and Skills * People management * Organisation skills * Consistency within role * Time management * Must have full Baseline security clearance Personal Attributes: * Organisation skills / Prioritise * Personal credibility * Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills * Ability to lead and motivate a Team Benefits * Holiday Allowance * Company Pension * Earn up to ?500 for Employee Referrals * Wide range of retail discounts, and corporate perks * Join our Cycle to Work scheme * Fully funded qualifications via our Apprenticeship levy * Win monthly Superstar Awards How to apply If you are interested to join a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply!
