About the Role
Berkeley Scott, one of the UK’s leading hospitality recruitment agencies, is seeking skilled and reliable Chefs to support a range of clients across the Education and Healthcare sectors in Tonbridge.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality meals
- Supporting menu planning, including dietary and allergen considerations
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Assisting with stock control, portioning, and minimising waste
- Supporting kitchen teams during busy service periods
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and health & safety regulations
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (weekends typically off)
- Shifts available between:
- Start times: 7:00am – 9:00am
- Finish times: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) – essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar environment
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (desirable)
- Experience in schools, care homes, or contract catering advantageous
- Strong reliability, organisation, and timekeeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
