Claims Handler – Casualty | Glasgow | Hybrid Working Are you a Claims Handler with experience or knowledge in Casualty Claims? Our client, a leading multinational insurance company, operating in over 50 countries, is looking for a Claims Handler to join their Glasgow-based team. What You'll Do - Manage a caseload of up to 350 claims, including: - Employer’s Liability - Product Liability - A small volume of motor claims - Assess liability and claim value (quantum) up to £25,000 - Negotiate settlements with policyholders and brokers - Provide a professional, customer-focused claims service - Attend review meetings and collaborate with internal teams - Identify complaints and handle them effectively or escalate as needed - Support internal processes such as audits and account reviews What We’re Looking For - Previous experience handling insurance claims (casualty experience is a plus) - Background in financial services or insurance is preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong customer service mindset - Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems - Experience in a commercial insurance claims environment is advantageous What’s on Offer - Competitive salary and pension scheme - Discretionary bonus - 25 days annual leave plus the option to buy 5 more - Hybrid working options - Private Medical Insurance - Life Assurance - Subsidised gym membership - Employee Share Purchase Plan - Comprehensive training and development programmes - Employee Assistance Programme for wellbeing and support Company Culture This organisation is built on core values of integrity, respect, excellence, teamwork, and client focus.
