We are seeking a dedicated Careline Manager to lead our Careline Service in London, ensuring it delivers exceptional support to our diverse communities, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Your Role
As the Careline Manager, you will:
- Lead and Inspire:Â Manage a team of Deputy Careline Managers and Duty Careline Officers, ensuring the service is staffed, motivated, and performing to the highest standards.
- Drive Excellence:Â Oversee the delivery of a 24/7 alarm monitoring and response service, ensuring it meets legislative requirements, local policies, and the needs of our service users.
- Innovate and Improve:Â Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve service delivery, ensuring best practices are shared across the team.
- Manage Resources:Â Take responsibility for budgets, rotas, and resources, ensuring efficient use of funds and compliance with European Working Time Directives.
- Build Partnerships:Â Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and promote the Careline Service across the borough.
- Ensure Safety:Â Act as the Lead Officer for Adult Safeguarding, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to protect vulnerable adults.

What We’re Looking For
We need someone who has:
- Proven Leadership Skills:Â Experience managing and directing staff in a 24/7 service environment.
- Customer Focus:Â A track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
- Technical Expertise:Â Knowledge of Community Alarm monitoring systems and experience using IT packages like Word and Excel.
- Strategic Thinking:Â The ability to analyse complex information, solve problems, and implement innovative solutions.
- Commitment to Equality:Â A strong understanding of equalities issues and a dedication to promoting inclusive practices.
- Flexibility:Â Willingness to participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours management support.
Desirable:Â A full UK driving licence (manual).

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Careline Service operates 24/7, meeting all quality standards and contractual commitments.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, providing regular supervision and support.
- Monitor budgets, activity, and performance, ensuring targets are met and resources are used effectively.
- Develop and maintain partnerships to enhance service delivery and meet the needs of service users.
- Act as the Lead Officer for Adult Safeguarding, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Prepare management reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
