Assistant CMI Manager

We are currently seeking an interim Assistant CMI Manager, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 4 months (with the potential that this could be extended to 6 months), requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

In this role, you'll partner with Brand & cross functional teams, working and with your CMI colleagues and global teams to bring a wealth of end to end insights for a Brand's objectives and key results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear and compelling insights on the performance of the European business, across digital and offline channels
- Work with stakeholders from Marketing, category, R&D to embed insights into action.
- Support the development of new innovations and recommending the right 'next' portfolio plays based on trends and advanced social listening tools.
- Lead the post launch evaluation and magnification for innovations, impacting business actions on stop/pivot/scale and how.
- Recommending strategy, portfolio, and pricing plays in lead markets to maximize growth opportunities.
Key Requirements
- You have a passion for data, insights, consumers and cultures. You have experience in CMI and know continuous data inside out (including Nielsen and Kantar)
- You're comfortable using a wide range of research and analytical tools and are familiar with both new and traditional data sources.
- You have a desire to continuously unlearn and learn ways to drive our superior competitive performance in segments, channels, regions, formats and a digital consumer world.
- You have a passion for the digital world and its implications for business, from influencer marketing to e-comm innovation.
- You've got some cross markets experience, particularly in brand crafting or innovation, but are comfortable working 'in' a market, understanding day to day performance with more immediate time frames.
- You can tell a story with impact, both verbally and written, with key facts
- You know how to interrogate a question from the business, to build a brief and appropriate response.
- You are calm & confident in ambiguous contexts and willing to navigate change with flexibility and agility.
- You're able to lead your projects independently - ensuring you seek guidance where needed and bringing people with you.
Additional Information
Some adhoc travel to the Blackfriars, London, office will be required.
