Accounts Assistant (12-month FTC) Location: London Contract: Full-time, 1-year FTC Reporting to: Finance Manager Salary: £30,000 + benefits Our client are a sustainable development organisation committed to delivering change on climate, nature and sustainability. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a busy and collaborative finance team on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn, to further develop their finance experience in a supportive environment. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting with day-to-day financial processing and data entry - Reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial records - Supporting month-end and year-end reporting - Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions - Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations - Providing general administrative support to the finance team. About you: - Experience in a finance, bookkeeping or accounts is essential - AAT qualified or studying level 3 as a minimum - Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems - Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach - A keen learner with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
