7.5T Driver Customer Delivery Hub Technician

About the role
Our Well-known Delivery Client are looking for Technician Specialists, you'll have the unique opportunity of bringing Their distinctive service right to our customer's doors and install the products they love into their homes (such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems and TV sets) as part of a 2-person delivery crew. You will also share your expertise to coach and develop the other delivery drivers in your team on home installations and general customer service skills, acting as a role model for the great service my client is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Your day will see you start at the delivery hub you are based before heading out on route where your responsibilities will include:
- Being an ambassador for with great customer service as your number one priority.
- Coach, develop and assess your delivery driver colleagues and give them the knowledge they need to perform at their best and represent our brand.
- Helping load up your lorry with the days deliveries working alongside the warehouse team.
- Demonstrating great respect and courtesy for the customer's home and handle unexpected situations to find the best possible solution for your customers.
- Installing products efficiently and quickly for our customers and demonstrating how they work once installed.
Experience you'll need
Previous experience of installation is required for this role, and they will assist in topping up your knowledge with their own installer accreditation. Other required skills and experience include:
Shift Pattern - all shift are 10hr 15mins
Wave 1 - 06:00
Wave 2 - 10:00
- Shift: 4days on 4day off 2 saturdays in every 5
- Manual C1 UK driving licence (with a maximum of 6-points).
- DCPC (Drivers Qualification Card) and Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Great verbal communication skills both over the phone and face to face.
