3.5T Van Delivery Driver - Multidrop
Location: Rochester
Shift Pattern: 5/6am starts, Monday to Friday, typical shifts 8 - 12 hrs per day.
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to perm for the right candidate
We are seeking a reliable and experienced van delivery driver for a busy multi-drop role. You will be responsible for delivering a variety of goods, including fire doors and internal/external doors. This role involves frequent deliveries across central London and the surrounding areas, so candidates must be comfortable with city driving and multiple drop-offs.
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services, offering a range of solutions including drayage, global freight forwarding, and full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and collaborates with customers to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of goods to customers across the wider region and London.
- Handle and transport different types of doors
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards while operating the vehicle.
- Load and unload the vehicle either by handballing or sack barrows
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous multi-drop driving experience is essential
- Manual Handling is required
- No more than six penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
- Strong knowledge of the UK road network, particularly London.
